Panruti T.Velmurugan Demands NLC management should allocate the profit of the next five years for Thane Cyclone Affected Areas :

CUDDALORE: 

        The government must declare Cuddalore district and parts of Villupuram and Nagapattinam districts as disaster zones, said former MLA Panruti T Velmurugan, whose fast-unto-death entered the third day at Neyveli, on Friday.

        People from neighboring villages who have been severely affected by cyclone ‘Thane’ swarmed the fast site with vehicles. On his demands, Velmurugan said, “The NLC management should allocate the profit of the next five years to Tamil Nadu to assist people of Cuddalore and farmer communities were the worst affected by the cyclone.
